the numbers game

I’m in a REALLY good mood today … maybe because I’ve made such tremendous progress on my pile o’ reading this week, it’s Thursday (which is almost Friday), and I’m just generally feeling great today.

So, here’s a quick snapshot of my life today. It is:

• 9 hours until the bachelor party at Dave & Buster’s
• 1 day until Friday — yay!
• 2 days until Paul & Sara’s wedding
• 4 days until my first paper is due
• (3 days until I start that paper)
• 7 days until our occasional staff retreat at work
• (6 days until I come up with a list of goals for next year)
• 8 days until the next IT committee meeting at work (the first one I’ve been invited to, rather than forcing myself into)
• 8 days until the political science welcome-back-to-school wine & cheese reception at UTD
• 8 days until my 10-year high school reunion (which I can’t go to)
• 13 days until I close on the house
• 14 days until my favorite of all favorite assignments at TWU (seriously): the parking committee meeting
• 16 days until Scott’s wedding in Arkansas
