I’m slowly plodding through finals, and last night turned in my last final exam. All that’s left is my practicum presentation tomorrow afternoon, and we can close the proverbial book on my spring ’05 semester o’ hell.
(Happily, Daniel takes his last final tonight, too!)
I think all this panic and stress about school is affecting me more than I realize. I say that because last night I had a dream that the College Board people figured out, some eleven years too late, that I actually scored a perfect 1600 on my SAT. My mom was there with me when I found out. I decided to try to get into a much tougher political Science Ph.D. program than UTD’s. Weird.
Oh, and on that front, I found out last week that the good folks at UTD are recommending me for one of their full scholarships this year. As best I can tell, this means I won’t have to pay any tuition or fees whatsoever for at least my first year … and presumably, subsequent years — assuming I keep a 3.5 GPA. That’s the best news I’ve heard all month!
NOTE: Thanks to Matt for pointing out that I had originally said a perfect 1200 on my SAT. WHOOPS!
