In the wintertime, the North Shore is a haven for surfers. Right now, though, the waves are pretty tame (or lame). At any rate, here I am at the North Shore. Whee!
Looking at models…
… model homes, that is. We looked at many variations of the homes available at Ocean Pointe yesterday, and I had “the fam” pose on the staircase at one of the nicer ones.
Pineapple fields forever
I had no idea pineapples were *plants*, not trees. We went to the Dole Plantation yesterday, though, and all my misconceptions were shattered. Isn’t this so cool?
My (new) favorite sunset picture.
These pictures, and others to come, are available at my Yahoo pictures page. FYI. I love this sunset picture. Don’t you wish you were here?
Liz + luau + sunset.
My sunset pictures turned out great (I have this thing for sunset pictures), but here’s one I didn’t take — Dalis was driving again.
… and then, AT the luau!
Dalis used to take pictures for JC Penney Portrait Studio. That’s why the pictures she took of me turned out so well. Like this one.
Getting ready for my virgin luau!
Before the luau, Dalis took this picture of me. I’m rather pleased with it — and my “Aloha wear.”
Ooohhhh. Pretty picture!
One of my unusually good pictures from earlier today, taken from an extremely windy peak. Daniel had the presence of mind to remind me that the wind is due to the fact that there’s nothing out there in the Pacific to slow it down. Smart man!
Ma & Pa Norell with me!
This is pre-luau, behind Fred & Dalis’s house.
A really cool road on the way up to the peak
Forgive me for not knowing / remembering all the names. I’ll come back later and edit this with the correct name, etc.
