Liz Norell has *NOTHING* of interest to say?
‘Fraid so, kids. Unless you really want to hear about papers, exams, impossible homework assignments, and home improvements.
(Didn’t think so.)
Well, here’s the extent of what I have to say…
My parents are coming for Thanksgiving. This will be their first visit to yours truly in — count ’em — three years.
Three years.
Ouch.
I am currently taking suggestions for MUST SEE Dallas things for their trip. We’ve been to the Sixth Floor Museum (their last trip), but I may take them back. Any other ideas, folks?
Oh, and I told my favorite favorite TWU professor today that I’m leaving. It was a 1-hour-plus conversation that was totally supportive and very melancholic (for me, anyway). She has been such a tremendous beacon of support for me throughout my time at this job and I will be very saddened not to have her so easily accessible come next year. Though I hope always to stay in touch with her. People who make you feel that good about yourself should always be kept close.
take them to see the christmas lights in Deerfield. (Legacy and Ohio in Plano) You can even splurge and instead of taking your car, you can hre a horse and carriage. it's pretty wonderful stuff.
