… I’ve barely had time to blog. Obviously.
Daniel and I continue our adventures looking for a house. After going through a couple of realtors (already), I believe we’ve found one we like and hope to go see one house in particular tomorrow. There’s a short list of maybe six or eight that we’re interested in, but we’ve now found two that seem perfect — the first, just a *wee* bit pricey. All of the short-list options have pools, though. 🙂
Thursday we repented of our sins and went back to Weight Watchers. We’ve recommitted ourselves to going to the gym regularly and eating at home more. (That both of us enjoy swimming is one of the primary reasons we’re so keen on getting a house with a pool.) Keep your fingers crossed for us on that… though, I’m utterly convinced that if we can keep positive attitudes and continue to encourage one another, Weight Watchers will be a success for us.
School is going well. Saturday’s class continues to be an, um, interesting experience. More of that elsewhere, later.
We saw “The 40-Year-Old Virgin” last week with Gary and Rachelle, and it was HILARIOUS. I absolutely loved it.
My parents continue to move into the new century … they’ve now bought TWO HD TVs — one for the living room, a 42″ plasma, and a smaller 20″ one for my mom’s office. They’ve also bought entirely new phones (including two cordless ones — amazing), as well as a new couch and custom-made matching recliners, and now a new wireless router and signal booster. It’s really funny to hear them talk about their new toys. And cute. 🙂
UPS and USPS have both gotten *really* good at delivering books to my doorstep. I’m *still* ordering books for school, bringing my grand total to well over $700 … but, I think it’s going to be worth it.
