Last week, I blogged about a speech I gave to a group of eighth- and ninth-grade girls about my job as a Web person. I was somewhat concerned about the extent to which I reached them … I mean, teenage girls aren’t necessarily the easiest audience to make a clear point to, right?
Anyway, today I arrived back to work with an envelope on my desk from the organizers of the camp the girls were attending. In it was a certificate marking my participation in the camp, as well as a letter from one of the girls who attended my short little talk. It REALLY touched me, so much so that I’m going to get a frame for it and hang it at work. In the meantime, here’s a scan.
