Someone asked where the amazing tile source is (see previous home renovation post). It’s called Surplus Floor Outlet. I don’t know about the Farmers Branch location, but we started off at the Allen location, where they have a small selection. The McKinney location is the goldmine — it’s a huge warehouse of remainder tile. If you only need a small amount (the most we were ever looking for was roughly 150 sq ft), you can get it dirt cheap — they point-blank told us they’d made their money back + profit on the tile in the warehouse, and they just want to get rid of it.
