I honestly can’t remember the last time I dressed up for Halloween — especially if you exclude all the times I wore my PJs out in public just because I had a decent excuse to do so. So I’m starting to feel a wee bit pressured/panicked by the looming date of Daniel’s (annual?) Halloween party coming up Oct. 30.
He hasn’t drafted the official evite yet, but unlike yours truly, Daniel is a big fan of large(r) parties and wants as many people as possible to show up. To that end, those of you who routinely show up on my random event invites can consider this your first notice of the party — it’ll be at Daniel and Paul’s house in Plano, and since they’re moving out by the end of November, will be their last party in what we might be led to believe has been a four-year-long stretch of awesome parties with random people (including, apparently, the token naked woman (or women!) at each gathering).
At any rate, the official evite will go out sooner or later, but I hope you’ll all make plans to attend that Saturday night. I’ll be in costume, and apparently (though I don’t exactly recall this) I’ve implied drinking will be high on my agenda that evening. I’m sure it will be a sight to behold. The question is — will it be a good sight? 🙂
Oh yes, and this also serves as D’s birthday bash — as the party is actually ON his birthday! Whee!
Not to give too much away: Paul (Easter) is going go be a roman dude (god) and Sara is going to be a Fairy!
