I’m safely in Arkansas — in Mountain Home, even — and just wanted to let you all know I snapping pictures like a crazy woman! 🙂
You’ll be proud to know I got Eric to let me use his printer to make two appropriately taunting signs for my back windows (one reading “GO Bombers!” the second “BEAT Harrison!”) — and then drove real carefully through Harrison, taking care not to stop. While I drove carefully through, though, I took significant pride in noting that not a single marquee or sign in Harrison was cheering on their football team.
I’ve driven down less than two miles of Mountain Home roads, and I’ve seen three or four companies with signs out, and a residence with balloons and trash-talking signs in the yard. I’m about to set out to take pictures of what team-spirit things I can find before I head to the football game later on.
So … everyone cross your fingers!
Oh yes, and I also took some photos of pre-Razorback game excitement in Fayetteville. I’d just like to send a big GO HOGS GO out to my fellow Arkansas fans — BEAT TEXAS! 🙂
More soon, everyone. I’ll have a game summary and at least a few pictures up late tonight.
