Horrors? nah

I didn’t finish “Wicked,” but we had a fantastic book club meeting in spite of it.

I didn’t like the fact that the musical “Little Shop of Horrors” had such a … ummm, well, horrific (hehe) ending, but it was FANTASTIC. I know, I know, I *always* say that about musicals / comedians / movies / plays. But it was.

Richard Lewis was hysterical. He’s extremely neurotic. Extremely Jewish. And extremely liberal. But hilarious.

Those three things were lots of fun, and on the whole my weekend was one of my better ones.

You know how, when you swim in the ocean, for some time afterwards you can sit still and continue to feel the waves churning within you? Sometimes I have a similar sensation inspired by other things — almost as though the joy that comes with having fun creates little waves of excitement, and once it’s again quiet — once the fun is over, I can still feel those waves for a while, moving within me and bubbling happiness up to the surface. That’s how I feel right now.

Or maybe it’s just the latter stages of sleep deprivation? hahaha

So, um, do I *hafta* go back to work tomorrow? 😉
