I was really quite a daddy’s girl when I was a young kid, and there are pictures to prove it. My grandma gave me a Polaroid at this year’s annual Gilbert family reunion that was taken (according to the picture) May 20, 1979 — shortly before my second birthday. The look on my dad’s face is priceless — every daughter should have a picture like this with her daddy.
