Houston, here I … er, WE … come!

Next week, I’m taking one of my semi-regular trips to Houston to visit TWU’s campus there. As, apparently, are a couple of IT guys and our president/chancellor. (Whoo hoo! Party in Houston! HA!)

I mention it only because, as always turns out to be the case when I anticipate having any level of downtime, I’ve got high hopes for my non-work time in Houston. Namely, I hope to:

* Spend some time working on moving forward the plot of “Bad Karma,” my fictional endeavor. (Having been properly inspired by Mil to come back to my writing again.)

* Buy Bridget Jones 2. If I can’t stand it, watch Bridget on my laptop’s DVD player. 😉

* Do some more research germane to my Ph.D. stuff.

* Remain a week ahead in my homework.

* Get lots of sleep. Relax.

Right. We’ll see how it goes.

Thankfully (I think), my hotel this time has free wireless Internet access throughout the hotel, so I should be able to remain as fully in touch as I generally like to be while I’m there. (Last time I went to Houston, and in fact *every* time I’ve been to Houston, this has not been the case. Eeks!)
