I don’t watch a lot of television. That said, if I had thirty minutes of tv-watching a day to meter out, I’d choose never to miss an episode of “The Daily Show with Jon Stewart” — to me, that alone is truly must-see tv!
Clearly, Jon’s stock is rising in the world of television and news; he consistently gets incredible guests, has been featured of the cover of Newsweek, and has a small trove of Emmy awards to his credit.
What I did not know (until today) is that The Daily Show writers, including Jon, have a forthcoming book called “America (The Book): A Citizen’s Guide to Democracy Inaction”, scheduled for release on Sept. 20. Impressively, it contains a foreword by Thomas Jefferson. Because even the founding fathers enjoyed a good fake news story now and then. 🙂
