There are many reasons I can’t wait to see “Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason.” Renee Zellwegger is one of my favorite actresses, and then there’s Colin Firth … ahem. My longstanding theory has been that every woman who’s seen the A&E rendition of “Pride and Prejudice” with Colin can share in and empathize with my affection for him; those who find him unremarkable without fail have never seen that miniseries. (And, IMO, should do so with all possible haste.)
